Flo Power LLC was founded in 2017 by industry veteran Mike Dansby, whose career spans more than 40 years in transformer maintenance services. While most contractors chased the large companies, Mike focused on the underserved local municipals and Electrical Cooperatives. Drawing on decades of hands-on expertise and a deep understanding of the power industry, Mike set out to build a company that combined technical excellence with a true dedication to customer relationships.

From the very beginning, Flo Power has been committed to delivering reliable, high-quality transformer services that keep our clients’ operations running smoothly. Over the years, we’ve earned a reputation as a trusted partner in the service industry, known for our responsiveness, integrity, and consistent results.

Today, Flo Power LLC, now operating as Flo Power & Substation Services, continues to grow, but our core mission remains the same as it was on day one: to deliver exceptional service you can count on, backed by decades of proven expertise.

Safety Culture

FPSS’s number one priority is the safety of our staff and all people at the job site. Every job starts with a Job Hazard Analysis form. The job lead completes this form daily and briefs all workers on the hazards and work conditions specific to the duties of that day. JHA includes: job tasks, potential hazards, controls to mitigate hazards including PPE and permits required. In addition, our safety procedures include a daily inspection of all equipment to be used on job that day.

Services

Flo Power and Substation Services (FPSS) is a customer-centric provider of Substation Services that has historically focused on the underserved Municipal and Cooperative markets in the state of Florida. FPSS focuses on Transformer Services, Substation Construction and Electrical Testing and Commissioning. In August of 2025 Flo Power LLC was acquired by CapPro, parent company of Electrical Engineering Enterprises (EEE). This partnership empowers FPSS to deliver even greater value to customers with expanded resources, cutting-edge equipment, and a broader range of services.
